Page 213: The column headings for the "Environmental Power Systems" chart are reversed. (Don Mappin)

Page 74: In column one, third paragraph, the rules state: "Characters cannot make more than four changes to their edges during character development (not including changes from the character’s Template)." In column two the same paragraph continues, "If as a result of choosing a Template, Overlay or Background package you make more than four changes to your edges, simply take the additional point and put it someplace else." The word "Template" should be deleted from the second sentence, reflecting the fact that Templates do not affect the number of times a character may alter their edges. (JWK)

Page 126: There are no modifiers listed for the "Aim" Action on the "Universal Combat Maneuvers" chart. Presumably it is the same as starship combat: -1 Difficulty per round spent aiming (page 143). (JWK)

Page 236: The Phaser II pistol and Phaser III rifle are both listed as having a size of 25 cm long, 0.8 L in volume. They are both also listed as having a mass of 0.6 kg. (Michael Stanley)

Steve Long, Last Unicorn Games Writer and co-Designer responds: Arg. Another gremlin. >:| I have no "book" stats, but I'd guess, oh, roughly 50 cm long, 1.6 L volume, 1.3 kg. It looks to be about twice the size of a Type II.

Page 70: What is the definition of the Area Knowledge skill alluded to on the Universal Background List but nowhere else defined? (Unknown)

Steve Long, Last Unicorn Games Writer and co-Designer responds: I believe that was supposed to be World Knowledge, which is described in the Skills section.

Page 72: Under the Academy Life packages, the Starfleet Medical package seem to provide 10 points worth of skills/Advantages for the 8 points allotted to this development stage.

Steve Long, Last Unicorn Games Writer and co-Designer responds: It's not a "fluke" at all -- it's a damn mistake, one I or someone along the chain in the editing process should have caught. :( There should be -2 worth of Disadvantages tacked on there. For the time being you should just make sure your characters take the Disads to compensate, choosing ones which are appropriate.

Ross Isaacs, Last Unicorn Games Line Developer: The Medical Academy is a boo-boo. It will be errata'd out of existence.

Page 67: The Ship's Counselor Overlay is missing the skill, Personal Equipment (Choose Specialization) 1 (2). (Unknown)

Page 67: The Ship's Counselor Overlay skill, Vehicle Operations (Shuttlecraft) should be listed at 1 (2), not just 1. (Don Mappin)

Page 134-135: The example states that Strength adds additional dice to damage while the Combat Chart (page 126) says to add/subtract a number of points equal to the Strength Edge. (Unknown)

Steve Long, Last Unicorn Games Writer, co-Designer and All-Around Cool Guy (TM) responds: The footnote (is correct). The example is in error and will be corrected as appropriate.

Page 71: The listings for Mixed Species Heritage is listed for +3 in the Early Life Advantages, but in the back (page 103), it has a listing as +6.

Steve Long, who we think is part Vulcan, part Duotronic computer responds: The correct "book" version, if you will, is +6, regardless of which two races you choose.
