Background
Since he was a child, Kevin dreamed of joining Starfleet. His head was filled with the idea of being a Starship captain and going where no one has gone before.

He enrolled in Starfleet Academy and graduated in the Command Department. He did well…almost too well.

He did so well, Starfleet assigned him as an assistant instructor in Starfleet Academy. He put up with this for two years. He requested any assignment so long as it was to the stars. He got his wish. He was posted to Relva VII as the operations officer assigned to screening potential candidates for Starfleet Academy.

After three years of this, Starfleet finally got the hint that he did not want to work with the Academy. How they picked up on this, he does not know. One possibility was his suggestion that instead of going through each candidate’s psychological file to determine their greatest fear, they simply drop a bag of spiders on each candidate and see what they do.

He received orders to become the Second Officer aboard the U.S.S. Hood (NCC-42296), an Excelsior-class Cruiser.

In his favor, he studied the culture of the Ferengi and is well versed in the Rules of Acquisition.

Personality & Appearance
Kevin is an American male in his mid- to late twenties with strawberry blonde hair and a wry grin on his face. Kevin approaches problems with a cool head and deadpan sarcasm. This factor is known to get him into deep trouble. When in command, his reign is tight but not harsh. Although not arrogant, he tends to argue sometimes for the sake of arguing. He is also very innovative and views things from a slightly different perspective. Unfortunately, he absolutely hates being in zero-G environments.
