Enlisted Rank Insignia

When I submitted my enlisted personnel manuscript to LUG for the Players’ Guide, I included an image file of rank insignias that I created. These insignias were extrapolated by taking Chief O’Brien’s insignia, comparing it to current Navy equivalents, and making some logical conclusions.

Although the insignias didn’t make it into Players’ Guide, I offer them now for any interested parties. Their degree of canon is up to you.

There intentionally is no rank insignia for Recruit, as this allows a "loophole" to explain characters seen on shows who have no insignia on their uniforms. While this was most likely because of an error in the wardrobe department, it allows an explanation to simply call those characters "Crewmen" or "Recruits" (ie. they were on their cadet cruise or still in training).
