I will not go into the setting nor intended style of play issues in this treatise. That I shall leave for a later essay.

Notes: All Prime Directive attributes will use the 3 letter PD abbreviations in caps. LUG attributes will be abbreviated to three letters, with initial caps, or fully spelled out.

Rounding up is suggested, except where noted.

The following is a "best fit by attribute purpose" rather than racial levels.

Most PD skills will need specializations added. Apply as many specializations as evidenced by the character's behavior.

When a LUGTrek skill has multiple correspondences, use the lowest PD skill possessed for the base skill level, and treat higher levels of skill in the others as additional levels of specializations.

When converting from LUGTrek to PD, each appropriate skill's base level should be applied to all the comparable PD skills, with appropriate specializations being raised 1 for one.

Weapons Conversions to LUGTrek
Repeater Phaser: as per phaser rifle, except 10 times power supply. In single shot mode, fires as rifle. In Burst mode, may hit several targets with one shot, burning 5x power; stream mode is "Wide Beam" stream fire.

Scatter Phaser: Just a triple power cell phaser designed solely for "Area Effect"; always fires (at only normal power requirements) on a 15 degree arc, and may be set for one to eight arcs in a single shot, each at normal cost. Ranges are about 1/2 those of a Phaser Rifle.

Phaser Grenades can be set for settings of 1-8, treat as 3d to hit, with skill of (20-(range+setting number), which may be negative. Reusable, but not until recharged.
