Background Notes
Born in Bayreuth in the Bavarian region of Earth's European continent, Talja spent her teen years in athletic competition as a junior-level bodybuilder.

Upon entering Starfleet Academy at age 18, she studied to be a Science officer specializing in Biology and taking an intensive Theoretical Science program.

Her Cadet Cruise was spent on U.S.S. Banting NCC-10688, an Oberth-class scout, on a scientific mission to the newly discovered planet Corell VI. On her first regular tour of duty, Talja was assigned to U.S.S. Mt Selaya NCC-76652, an Everest class explorer, where she spent 4 years on an extended scientific mission to the Neried Sector. She is now assigned to Dyson Base, exploring the Dyson Sphere discovered by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D in 2369 as part of the crew of the Danube class runabout U.S.S. Tiber NCC72499).

Description and Personality
Talja Gröen is short, with pale skin, grey eyes and dark hair, and pretty, though not really beautiful facial features. She wears her uniforms slightly loose to soften the effect of her physique, making her look slightly dumpy.

When seen without her uniform, especially in the hologym, she is nothing less than striking - a sharply sculpted anatomy study in pale pink marble. When exercising, she is oblivious to all else, listening to the "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony over and over as she goes through her workout, often hogging the hologym to herself for hours at a time if allowed.

Talja is somewhat shy and withdrawn, especially since the death of her sister Greta on the U.S.S. Challenger NCC-74695 in combat against the Borg at Earth two years ago. When dejected, she will take refuge in that most Germanic of all remedies, chocolate, exercising furiously afterward to work off the extra calories.

Fitting Talja Into Another Campaign
Talja would fit into pretty much any campaign, though she would be most at home on a science or exploration vessel.
