Description and Notes
Fleet data:  The K’Mirra Alliance-class (or D18- class) battlecruiser occupies a special place in the history of the relations between the Klingon Empire and that of the Federation.  Designed by both Klingon and Starfleet designers between 2328 and 2338, the ship incorporates several key features of both Klingon and Federation warships in a failed attempt to create the equivalent of a Klingon Explorer class.  An additional twelve of these vessels served with Starfleet between 2340 and 2358 as the K’Mirra Alliance-class Heavy Cruiser.  These ships do not have cloaking devices, as their presence would constitute a technical violation of the Treaty of Algeron.

Noteworthy vessels / service records / encounters: I.K.S. Return brought back the cloned Emperor Kahless to the Klingon home world in 2369.  U.S.S. Prinz Eugan fought several encounters with the Cardassians in an effort at securing a strategic advantage during the first months of the First Cardassian War in 2354.  Currently only the former I.K.S. Return renamed the "qeylIs chegh" (Kahless Return), serves with the KDF serving as Kahless’s personal ship.  The U.S.S. Ronako is also still active with Starfleet as of 2369. There are currently several in mothballs in both fleets and some still in use by various Klingon house military forces including the renegade I.K.S. Duras which serves as that house’s flagship.

Author's Notes
As seen on page 108 of the FASA TNG Officers Manual this ship was one of a very few TNG designs I really liked and thought deserved another shot at RPG use.  The engines are from an Excelsior-class ship, the sensors from an Apollo-class ship while the rest is of Klingon origin.  Please if any one does use this design (even if its as something to shot at) let me know how it turns out at ncc74656@alltel.net; besides I will keep a registry of names for them and would like to attempt to keep a record of them.
