Description and Notes
Identical in external design to its smaller brethren, the Ferengi Cargo Shuttle has become possibly the most common Ferengi craft encountered, even surpassing the large Marauder-class ships the Ferengi 'Navy' operate. Filling a role roughly equivalent to that of Starfleet's Runabouts, the shuttle is also very common among civilian users, who value the shuttle for its luxurious conditions and spacious cargo hold. The ship itself is optimised for a crew of 2 to 3, but can carry 8 very 'close' friends in a squeeze.

Note that these craft can differ widely from owner to owner, and it would not be out of line to assume that each shuttle encountered is different. Simply use these stats as a starting point and build from there, altering whatever systems suit you. If trying to gauge costs for a Raiders, Renegades and Rogues campaign, please let me know what you come up with so I can update the profile.

Emergency power is based on a discussion on the TrekRPG mailing list where emergency power was recommended as a flat 10% of the standard power supply. Designed to keep minimal systems functioning in case of catastrophic failure, the power is supplied from induction batteries and the time limit is the batteries' life under optimal conditions without a power source to recharge from.

Noteworthy Vessels: Quark's Treasure, owned by Quark the bartender on DS9, was caught in a temporal anomaly in 2373 that took it to Roswell on Earth in 1947. Consequently sold as scrap after colossal systems failure caused by massive centralised EMP burst. It should also be noted that both the former Grand Nagus Zek, and Liquidator Brunt both use this class of Ferengi shuttle.
