Create the TrekRPGNet Logo!

As you may know, we are currently working on a redress and update of the TrekRPGNet web site. While making some sketches and mulling the idea of a logo for the site, it occurred to me that there are a number of talented individuals out there who could help. And, without a doubt, could do a better job than myself! So, with that said, I open the field to talented artists, designers, and anyone with a cool idea, to submit you logo idea!

Now, don't worry if you're not an artist. You don't have to be to enter! You only have to submit a representation of your idea, not a final production-quality proof. Those with sufficient skill are encouraged, however, to dress up their submission.

Okay, so what's on the line? Star Trek RPG merchandise, of course! Here is the Grand Prize:

• A signed copy of the Star Trek: The Next Generation Players' Guide
• A signed copy of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Boxed Set
• An additional LUG product of your choice
• Recognition of your contribution to TrekRPGNet for the design of the logo on the pages themselves

(Hey, we're under a limited budget, so cut me some slack!) :)

Of course, it wouldn't be a contest without some rules and provisions. Entries should contain at least one of the following elements, if not several:

• Name of the site (TrekRPGNet)
• URL (http://www.trekrpg.net)
• Motto ("Four role playing games - one web site")
• Be somewhat representative of the purpose of the site.

Not to limit you, but there is one more stipulation:

• Entries may not use any pictures, emblems, or elements directly from Star Trek or the phrase "Star Trek." (Yea, I know this is brutal, but it's for legal reasons.)
• Enter as many times as you'd like.

That's it! The contest will run through the end of March or until I'm totally blown away by an entry so good that I immediately pronounce it as "the winner." Speaking of winners, afterwards I'll share the runner-ups as Honorable Mentions. All entries should be directed to myself. Any file format is acceptable.
